Niagara Falls

The name of Niagara Falls comes from the Indian language, which means “water of the god of thunder”. It is the general name of three waterfalls on the Niagara River in the Great Lakes region of North America. It is known as the world’s three major transnational waterfalls along with Iguazu Falls and Victoria Falls. Niagara Falls is famous for its beautiful scenery, huge hydroelectric power generation capacity and extremely challenging environmental protection projects. The entire waterfall spans Ontario, Canada and New York State, USA, forming the Niagara Gorge in the south. Among them, the Horseshoe Falls is located on the border between the United States and Canada, and the American Falls are all located in the United States and separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls is also in the United States, separated from the American Falls by Luna Island.

Cave of the Winds
