Cancellation Policy

  1. If weather conditions, war, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances interrupt the journey, Gallop Global reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary without refunding the tour fee.
  2. Cancellation & Re-schedule Policy:
    a. More than 15 days prior to departure (EST): Free cancellation with full refund. Please reconfirm penalties for any added hotel or flight bookings.
    b. 14–8 days prior to departure (EST): 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded.
    c. 7 days or less before departure (EST) or on departure day: 100% penalty, no refund.
    d. Additional hotel bookings or services before/after the tour follow the hotel’s cancellation policy.
    e. If a guest quits during the trip or fails to participate due to personal reasons (missing documents, late arrival, illness, accident, etc.), the paid tour fee will not be refunded and no compensation will be provided.

Know Before You Book

  1. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult. A guardian traveling with children must provide proof of custody or notarized parental authorization. Pregnant women may join only if 24 weeks or less pregnant by the end of the trip.
  2. Provide accurate and complete booking information (name, gender, valid travel documents, contact number, flight details, etc.). Any losses due to errors or invalid information will be borne by the guest.
  3. Hotels have different room types (King/Queen bed or two twin beds). The maximum occupancy is usually 2–4 people. Deposits and refunds are typically handled via credit card. Gallop Global guarantees the number of rooms but not specific room type or location. Hotel check-in is usually after 15:00.
  4. This tour does not accept City Pass or self-purchased attraction tickets. Admission and meal prices may change without notice. Purchased tickets are non-refundable even if prices drop.
  5. Gallop Global reserves the right to adjust itineraries to facilitate smooth operation without reducing the number of included items.
  6. The tour guide or driver may adjust tour sequence, stay times, or meeting times according to weather, traffic, or other conditions.
  7. If attractions are closed (including holidays), adjustments will be made (outside viewing or substitute attractions). Changes due to force majeure (including health restrictions) are not refundable.
  8. Children under 8 require a booster seat. Gallop Global provides rental at $10/person/day (request in advance). Guests bear responsibility for any violations or fines.
  9. Normal health is required to participate. Guests with disabilities must notify us in advance. Gallop Global does not guarantee lift-equipped buses or wheelchair seating without prior notice and approval.
  10. Guests must carry valid travel documents for border crossings. Entry/exit decisions rest with customs. Failure to cross due to customs is considered force majeure, and tour fees are non-refundable.
  11. Gallop Global may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Guests are responsible for reviewing the latest version prior to booking. Unless required by law, Gallop Global is not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising under these terms.
  12. Due to rising oil prices and vehicle costs, all bus tours are subject to a transportation surcharge of $5 per person per day (effective April 1, 2022). The surcharge must be paid with the tour fee at the time of booking.

Know Before You Go

  1. The maximum waiting time for late passengers is 10 minutes after the meeting time. While Gallop Global strives to be punctual, delays due to weather, traffic, strikes, government shutdowns, terrorism, or mechanical issues may occur. Gallop Global is not responsible for missed connections or related expenses.
  2. Gallop Global reserves the right to transfer passengers between vehicles during the trip if operating conditions require.
  3. Required for boarding: A valid photo ID. Recommended: A copy of your booking confirmation email.
  4. This is a group activity. Guests wishing to leave must inform the tour guide, sign a departure agreement, and forfeit any unused portions of the trip (non-refundable).
  5. Complimentary or gift items in the itinerary may be canceled due to force majeure or personal reasons. No refunds apply.
  6. Smoking is prohibited on buses (federal law) and in most hotel rooms. Guests are responsible for any hotel smoking penalties (minimum $250 per night).
  7. Pets and animals are not allowed on the vehicle.
  8. Luggage is subject to inspection at international borders. Guests must claim their own luggage before crossing. Gallop Global will not provide transportation for guests denied entry.
  9. For tours with airport pick-up service: one free pick-up is provided within the designated time window per order. If delays occur due to weather or flight issues, guests must arrange and pay for their own transportation.

Notes:

  • Paid tour fees will NOT be refunded in the case of no-shows on the day of departure.

  • Additional hotel bookings or other services are subject to each hotel’s cancellation policy.
  1. Force Majeure:
    In the event of weather, war, strikes, or other force majeure that make it impossible to tour, Gallop Global will try its best to protect the safety of guests and their property. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust part or all of the itinerary and will not bear responsibility caused by force majeure. Paid tour fees are non-refundable.
  2. Optional Insurance:
    “Book with Confidence” insurance ($300 per traveler) allows full refund or free rescheduling up to 15 days before departure; within 8–14 days rescheduling is still allowed without penalty.

DETAIL TERMS AND CONDITIONS


A. Bus Rules

The maximal waiting time for any late passengers is 10 minutes beyond the meeting time announced by the Tour Guide. While Gallop Global makes every effort to provide on-time service, it does not guarantee to arrive at or depart from any point at a specific time, which may be affected by factors such as weather, traffic, strikes, government shutdowns, war, terrorist attacks, or mechanical problems.
Gallop Global is not liable for any inconvenience or expenses caused as a result of such a delay, including missed air/train/bus connections or other travel expenses.


B. Seating

Gallop Global reserves full control and discretion regarding the seating of passengers and the right to change seating at any time during the trip. Seating arrangements will be made without regard to race, color, creed, or national origin.


C. Transfers and Connections

Gallop Global reserves the right, when operating conditions require, to transfer passengers from one vehicle to another en route.


D. Animals on Board

Pets (dogs, cats, birds, or other animals) are not permitted. Only certified service animals, trained to assist travelers with special needs, are allowed to travel with qualified passengers at no extra charge.


E. Baggage

  • Gallop Global does not provide checked baggage service.
  • Passengers are responsible for placing and retrieving their own baggage in the bus bins.
  • Liability for loss due to mechanical failure: max. $200 per piece.
  • Liability for damaged suitcases: max. $30 per piece.

F. Refusal to Transport

Gallop Global reserves the right to refuse transport to anyone who:

  1. Is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  2. Is incapable of self-care (unless accompanied by an attendant).
  3. Displays conduct objectionable to others.
  4. Fails to comply with driver/tour guide instructions.
  5. Refuses a search of person or property for weapons.
  6. Has a communicable disease posing a health risk.
  7. Uses attraction tickets (e.g., CityPASS) purchased outside the tour guide.

G. Check-in

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
  • Pregnant women may only travel if 24 weeks or less by trip end.
  • Required documents:
    1. Valid photo ID.
    2. Tour confirmation (electronic or copy).
    3. Contact number (preferably mobile).

H. Smoking

Smoking is prohibited on buses (Federal law) and in most hotel rooms. Guests are responsible for hotel non-smoking penalties (minimum $250/night).


I. Food and Drinks

  • Only bottled water is permitted.
  • No food or alcoholic beverages are allowed on board.

J. Price Changes

Attraction admission and meal expenses are subject to change at any time. Purchased tickets are non-refundable even if prices drop.


K. Hotel Upgrade & Safety

  • Passengers must exit the bus at each attraction stop, regardless of ticket purchase.
  • Seat belts must be worn; no standing while in motion.
  • Drivers determine speed, routing, and use of hands-free devices.
  • Gallop Global is not responsible for injuries caused by passenger negligence.

L. Passenger Information

Gallop Global may disclose passenger information (ticket/payment details) as required by law, by court order, or upon request from government or law enforcement agencies.


M. Passengers With Disabilities

Normal health conditions are required. Passengers with disabilities must provide advance notification. Gallop Global does not guarantee wheelchair-equipped buses without prior approval.


N. Cross-Border Travel

  • Valid passport required for U.S.–Canada travel.
  • Guardians traveling with minors must provide custody proof or notarized authorization.
  • Luggage is subject to inspection; all must be claimed at border crossings.
  • Gallop Global is not responsible for denied entry or luggage issues at borders.

O. Alterations

These terms may be updated on our website. Passengers are responsible for reviewing them before booking. Gallop Global is not liable for indirect, incidental, or punitive damages unless required by law.


P. Compensation

  • Compensation does not exceed the purchase price related to the incident.
  • Mechanical delay goodwill compensation:
    • Under 3 hours: none.
    • 3–6 hours: snack/meal ($10 value).
    • 6+ hours: refund of one day’s bus rental rate (approx. $800, shared).

Q. Receipts

Receipts can be requested from the tour guide and will be processed within 5 business days.


R. Hotel Notes (For Official Use)

  • Random hotel upgrades may occur.
  • Room type/position not guaranteed.
  • Usual max. occupancy: 2–4 people per room.
  • Report bed bugs or facility issues immediately to the guide or front desk.
